ABT also played its tuning magic on the RS6 Avant.

Without any modification, the Audi RS Q8 is already one of the most powerful SUVs on the planet, and once held the record for the fastest SUV on the Nürburgring track. Just when you think there is no room for improvement, the famous tuner ABT Sportsline launched a limited edition RS Q8-R last year, which is a more extreme version of the Audi super SUV.

The RS Q8-R is limited to 125 examples to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the tuner, adjusted to produce an amazing 740 hp and 678 lb-ft of torque. Although it was about $235,000 more expensive than the regular RS Q8, ABT's hardcore SUV sold out quickly. If you missed it, ABT has revealed its replacement: Say hello to RS Q8-S, it also joined RS6-6 Avant. In stock form, both models are powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, which can produce 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.

By installing the ABT engine control unit, the output increased to a crazy 700 horsepower and 649 pound-feet of torque. If this is still not enough power for you, ABT can also increase the output to 740 hp and 678 lb-ft, which matches the RS Q8-R. Both models are also equipped with a carbon fiber body kit for a more aggressive appearance. On the front is a front splitter with red RS6-S or RSQ8-S. Side skirt attachments are installed on the front and rear of the RS Q8, while the RS6 Avant sports the front side skirts and rear side blades. A two-piece rear spoiler and a stainless steel exhaust system with four exhaust pipes dominate the rear of the two models.

Using ABT level control to adjust the air suspension, the ride height of the RS Q8 is reduced by 0.9 inches in comfort mode and 0.5 inches in dynamic mode.

On the other hand, RS6-S is upgraded with a height-adjustable suspension spring, which can reduce the ride height of the front axle by 0.9 inches and the rear axle by 1.1 inches. The customized RS Q8 is equipped with 23-inch wheels, while the RS6 Avant is equipped with 22-inch wheels. Inside, both models are equipped with custom door sills with RS Q8-S or RS6-S lettering, a glossy visible carbon fiber shift knob cover, and the ABT logo applied to the start-stop switch cover and steering wheel badge. Both models also offer carbon fiber trim for the instrument panel and seat frame cover, while the RS6 can be ordered with carbon shift paddles.

ABT's RS Q8-S and RS6-S Avant will be delivered in January 2022, with a package price of €42,900 (US$48,518) plus installation.
